Planning a wedding, or just want photos of the two of you? A session together is the easiest way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and to finally have photos of you two that aren't selfies.

Every session is built around the two of you: a quick hour in one favorite spot, a longer session with a change of scenery, or a half-day adventure doing something you love. When you get in touch, I'll send the full collections guide with all the details.

Good to know

What should we wear?

Something you'd wear on a nice date and feel like yourselves in. Coordinate rather than match, and skip big logos and busy patterns.

What time of day is best?

The hour or two before sunset gives the softest light. Sunrise works beautifully too, and popular spots are much quieter.

Do we have to be engaged?

Not at all. Anniversaries, a new home, or just wanting good photos of the two of you are all great reasons for a session.

Can we add an engagement session to our wedding collection?

Yes. It can be added to any wedding collection.

Do we need a permit?

Some parks and gardens require one. If your location does, securing it is up to you, and I'm happy to point you in the right direction.

Do you travel?

Yes. There are no travel fees within the DMV. For sessions farther away, I'll quote travel up front.
