Washington, D.C. wedding photographer

Documentary coverage of your whole day, with time set aside for portraits of the two of you. Based in Northern Virginia, photographing across the D.C. area and wherever you're getting married.

Your day

How I photograph a wedding day

  1. 01

    Before the ceremony

Getting ready, the details, and a first look if you choose to have one.

  2. 02

    Ceremony

Covered quietly from the processional to the recessional, so all eyes stay on you.

  3. 03

    Portraits

Family photos from a list we plan together, then unhurried time for the two of you.

  4. 04

    Reception

Toasts, your first dance, and the dance floor at its fullest.

Selected moments

A few of my favorite frames from recent weddings, close to home in Washington, D.C. and in destinations near and far. Most were caught as they happened. A few are portraits from the time we set aside for just the two of you. Want to see a whole day? I'll send you a complete wedding gallery when you get in touch.

Questions

Good to know

How many photos will we get?

Usually 700–1,000 hand-edited, watermark-free images from a full day. That's an estimate, not a limit. There's no cap on how many images you receive.

When will we see our photos?

Sneak peeks arrive the next day. Your full gallery typically follows within 2–4 weeks.

Do you bring a second photographer?

For larger weddings I recommend one, so two moments happening at once both get covered. It's available as an add-on.

Do you travel?

Yes. There are no travel fees within the DMV. For weddings farther away, I'll quote travel up front. Destination weddings are always welcome.

How do we reserve our date?

With a signed contract and a 30% retainer, both handled online.
